As the twists and turns of my research lead me around Japan, my art expressions respond.
Found photographs that survived the 2nd world war become cyanotypes on silk. He was a silk trader -
The unstable essence of this medium and the often fading of images request me to be in vigilance and response.
The weaving of this story engages newly found family members in Japan and afar and my curiosity is heightened.
I share with other artists at the Tokyo University of Art about Art based in research/research based art.
