About G88.1 Editions

G88.1 Editions is an ongoing series of limited edition photographic prints produced in collaboration with emerging and established contemporary artists. The project reflects the evolving language of contemporary photography—from conceptual and documentary practices to intimate and experimental approaches. Each edition is the result of close dialogue between artist and gallery, emphasizing creative intention and curatorial care. The project also fosters meaningful connections between artists and collectors, offering an accessible way to engage with and support contemporary photographic practices.

Each edition includes 88 hand-numbered prints, plus 1 Artist Proof—a total of 88.1, a subtle reference to Gallery 881. This structure ensures exclusivity while remaining accessible to collectors and institutions alike. Each print is authorized and stamped with the official Gallery 881 mark on the reverse. This stamp is the Certificate of Authenticity. No print is recognized as part of the edition without it, nor without its unique number: x of 88.

Each print is a museum-quality archival pigment print on Canson Infinity paper, selected for its depth, longevity, and exceptional surface. The Editions are produced by our in-house PrintMaker Studio, a Canson Infinity Certified Print Lab and custom picture framer located in Vancouver, Canada. Framed editions are also available by our partner PrintMaker Studio.
